Tomas Mascarenas

Founder of Meow Woof Pet Rescue, Tomas has spent most of his life helping and teaching people animal behavior and conservation efforts. He spent 2 years on the Colorado department of Agriculture Pacfa Board of advisors. While on the board he voted to expand programs and better educate the local stores and rescues. It was while serving this term that he became obsessed with trying to save every Cat and Dog from kill shelters. Once he relocated with his family to North Carolina he immediately noticed the difference coming from a state that was well mandated to one that was free willing. The amount of dogs and cats for sale and being bred in the state is increasing troublesome. 

It is his vision of saving as many of these precious animals by offering rehabilitation and training to the animals that would normally be put down. His proven training on aggressive dogs and feral cats is in line with some of the top trainers in the world. This training and a no kill environment where every life will matter he hopes to relive some of the stress of the state run facilities.
